Hi there,

Does anyone know of a good Australian online photo gallery where you can load photos for friends and family of events you have taken photos of - eg a family wedding etc - and they can order prints from? (maybe even with a little commission creamed off the top to put towards some more gear :)) Family is spread over a few states so I thought this might be the easiest way to do it all online.

I believe SmugMug and Photobucket might support this but they are US sites and I believe the photo ordering is done in the US - is that right?

Thanks for your help,
KV

Snapfish allow friends and relatives to purchase your prints from an online gallery.
Details here --- http://www.snapfish.com.au/helpsharing

Clicking on the snapfish banner on AP and ordering from there will earn AP a commission to help keep the site running. :)

Smugmug ordering/printing is US based. From what I hear it's good but I've disabled it on my site.

Smugmug is US based, that'scorrect but I've had no complaints about the quality of prints or the time to delivery. But will admit that having to purchase in US dollars has been mentioned by one client. I offer prints to people via redbubble too.

Not sure if this is still relevant, but I use redbubble. Have just sold 10 calendars for next year cos they do such a beautiful job. Have also been impressed with the quality of their cards and mounted prints. Tee shirts are good for what they are, but nothing beats a silk screen by hand!

Try photomerchant (http://www.photomerchant.com.au) which are based in NSW I think.
