have new comp - how do i tell what usb it is?

if it's a truly new PC rather than just another PC that you got, it's USB2.

for confirmation go to My Computer, right click, select Properties and look for Device Manager. In there is a list of all the devices.. alphabetically USB is normally near the bottom of the list. It'll tell 'ya what USB type it is.. with a 99.9% chance that it's USB2 :p

I don't know of any new PC introduced for many years where the USB type is 1.1 or older.

this is new so new people must have small figers for the keyboard that comes with it :eek:

nicwe to know is a usb 2 on here might try that film scanner again (re buy)
