go buy a bunch of flower and you have some great subject matter. But if you want a really good challenge, here is one for you. Lock yourself in your bedroom, and take 40 photos, each one different of the room. The first few will be generic room shots, but then you have to start looking at detail/angles etc and by you get to the last 5 shots, you will find you have some really creative results.
Visit Victoria ~ Blue sky, warm days, sheer luxury.
Sort through some of the 174,962 photographs on your hard drive you haven't post-processed yet. :(
Or, do as Fez says - absolutely superb photography weather here.
There's no such thing as "bad weather" - there's just bad gear... Get out an umbrella if you must and move outside! There are beautiful photo's waiting to be shot when it's raining...

Visit Victoria..... you dont have to worry about to much rain down here.
macro stuff of insects etc
Portraits
setup things and try product type photos
If all else fails go to a museum or just try different photos from the car and there always is shots of flowers in garden.
Oh and nar dont visit Victoria, come to Adelaide
I wonder about this from time to time. Make up a light box and play around with that. You can surprise yourself with one of these. Get ideas from other photos and invent your own.

i like this idea Rick gotta give it a go..
I tried this and was alot of fun. Get a nicely shapped glass fill with water, some strawberries, set the camera up and drop the strawberries in the water..shoot away

This is the best thought so far; Rick' is a very close second.

When it rains, cook. Make cup cakes or a stack of pancakes or muffins or biscuits. Then photograph them. Then eat them. ;)
Rain...what's that ?
Use a bit of creativity and get out there in the rain, some brilliant shots can be obtainable in rainy weather, only limited by ones imagination.
I like playing around with photos you wouldn't normally 'see' in your mind...
Like taking abstract photos of bits of things around the house :)

Here are a few ideas:
- Process photos you have never had time to do before or go back over some of your better ones and process them again if you have improved your photo shop skills since you first did them and see if you can improve on them.
- Plan and research a new topic / subject you want to photograph or plan a photography project.
- Do as Rick said and lock yourself in a room and take 40 or 50 photos, that will force you to look at things in a different way and push you to try new things.

I usually go for macro shots when the weather is bad and I want to shoot something. Like in the What is this thread 283 at the moment. I just grabbed this.........., set it up on the pool table near the best available light, got tripod, adjusted the ......... so that light was optimum, coming through the hole and fired away. There are heaps of things to shoot. Start looking, old coins, paper money, fruit, flowers in pots. Have fun.
Thanks again guys I have given a few of these a go. Here's one I did in the rain the other week.

I was looking for things to do the other day as I was stuck indoors so I got an Idea from Digital SLR Photography mag May 2009 issue.
They had some cool shots of fruit in soda water so I gave it a go.
