Ok I've used RAW before but I have never seen this before. Well it hasn't happened to me.

I opend this image (this is the jpg file of it - i take raw+jpg files)

http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa43/moonke/rawprob2.jpg

in photoshop and I got this in RAW

http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa43/moonke/rawprob2.jpg

I haven't changed any settings in RAW. I used it this morning on another image and have not had any problems.
It seems to be occurring only with photo's taken on that particular day.

What I don't understand, is the thumbnail doesn't show the red

Help please, These photo's are for friends, and some need to get published in the paper, so I need to fix it.
I have the jpg's as back ups, but I'd rather use the RAW images.

Thanks in advance
Matilda

oh crap, it's not showing it... damn it, and they were screen dumps. Ok now I have no idea what the hell is going on.

Gidday

You didn't inadvertently set your colour balance on your camera to a specific setting, did you?

Does the red cast (which I admit I can't see from here) appear when you print? If not, it could be a monitor issue?

That's all I've got! :)

problem solved.

i rebooted and then fooled around with my moniter settings.

I'm back to using my old monitor as my other one is playing up.

I have no idea why it did it

but thanks for helping either way.

I was reading down this thread, and even before I got to your last reply, I thought..hmmm. Monitor issue, not RAW issue.

Good luck with resolving it.

(i've deleted in the photo's in photobucket that's why they aren't appearing).

I figured out why it shows red, as it's doing it all the time now. It does it when the white is washed out (over exposed), which actually helps me to process the image a lot better.

Just thought I would let you know.
