I have almost completed a home made ring light which has been designated the R-LITE. I have one little problem, using a 24mm lens (35mm format) on a D200 with a 20mm or 36mm extension tubes gets me too close and my light no longer provides a good wash. Any ideas on how to cure this? At the moment I'm thinking bend the LED's in a bit or add a reflector ring or both.

Here are some progress pics plus (almost) finished product.
The few things to be done are: Reflector/LED Alignment; Tertiary Plate to cover wires; Switch; Painting/Finishing.
