New monitor advice

Hi all.

I need a new monitor for editing.

27/28"
Good gamut (obviously)
Must have all the settings to allow external calibration.
Budget ~$1,000.

I'm considering the Benq SW272Q.

Suggestions welcome.

Ahh, combing through reviews...:cool:

This one by PC World (https://www.pcworld.com/article/2204753/benq-sw272q-review.html) shows some graphs further down that seem to highlight some drawbacks
with this model's contrast. The graphs compare it with other monitors.

It seems a major drawback to me that it has a low contrast for the purposes you need.

The rest of the reviews sure paint it up, though. In the end I still wasn't sure.

I got the Benq SW272Q a few days ago. Very impressed thus far.
