Slow motion video camera

Hey people I’m looking to purchase a slow motion video camera and not sure what to look for.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi, Axle. Going on "any advice...", have you looked at the slo-mo video functions of your phone?

So, what sort of things would you be going to capture? Some cameras I looked at have a 960 fps
capability, but at what resolution I can't remember.

Hey mate, first I don’t have a mobile phone, strange yeah I know.

I want to video what’s called Cymatics, which is the movement of fluid in a cup mounted on a small speaker with a tone generator to power the speaker.

So I would be looking at a minimum of 1000fps.
