"aa filter" is anti-aliasing filter. Your Pentax K1 doesn't have a physical such filter, but can simulate one
by a method of vibrating the sensor.
Your question of whether one would be useful has no general answer, because it depends on the subject
you want to photograph.
The effect of an AA filter is to impart a special type of blur to the image to eliminate the deleterious results
of certain "artifacts" - typically Moire` patterns - that result from imaging especially certain textures. The
trouble is that AA filters can be unnecessarily blurry for recording fine detail.
I can only suggest you look up what AA filters are good at, and when you come across such a photographic
situation, turn the AA "on".
