Hey all,
New to the forum. Enjoy photography. Had a Canon 60d few years back that was used for a Europe trip and gathered dust for years until the kids started playing basketball.
Used the 60d couple of times, but didn't really know how to use it to get good photos indoors. Then got an A6500 with a kit lens as it looked compact and a good all rounder.
More reading, youtube... learned about the shutter speed, aperture and iso. Getting more comfortable with shooting in manual found myself locking the aperture to f5.6 to get more consistent results. Sold both cameras and picked up A7iii with a 24-105 f4 constant. Covid stopped indoor sports for a while, but getting back into it again, fighting low lighting levels of indoor courts.
Using Lightroom to crop and only comfortable with using the auto settings for now. Also picked up a second hand A6300 recently to get some game videos.
Constantly learning and researching
