Thankyou for excepting my membership, my wife and I are retired Photographers, we had our own studio for many years and we retired 15 years ago. We still enjoy our photography but mainly Landscapes and Wildlife these days, having spent years on Weddings and studio work, we did get out and do a lot of Commercial and airial photography. Now its time to relax and take our time to enjoy what we do.
I have sold all but one of my profesional cameras, just keeping my Mamiya 645. I have just purchased a Nikon P1000 which is a Bridge camera, solely for the 125x Optical zoom which is equiv to a 3000mm lens plus a 4x digital on top of that, I am still waiting for it to arrive so cant comment on it as yet but looking forward to that zoom, it should be great on Wildlife.

Hello Mono and Nan and Welcome to AP. Interesting Bridge Camera sounds great for Wildlife.
Will look forward to seeing what you both post on the CC Forums.
