Dear Dorothy Dix
For years I resisted starting a photography business. I finally relented 12 months ago and what I feared would happen has happened.
I no longer enjoy photography as relaxation, creative stimulation and have little drive to take photos for fun. Keeping up to date with technology, ensuring client's are happy, growing the business have all taken the pleasure out of personal photography.
To be truthful I thought this would happen after all Greg Norman and Tiger Woods do not play golf to relax, it is there job.
I would be interested to hear from any others who work in the photography business and managing to stay motivated for the personal photography.
When I do get motivated, the images sit on the PC for weeks before being processed and then sharing some weeks after that.
Any advice or lessons from your experience would be appreciated.
Signed - no longer nsap happy and mainly crappy.
