Hi all,

I am an absolute new starter in the hobby of digital photography, only have taken up the hobby in my recent retirement. To that end I have for the moment decided to make use of my late brothers photography equipment. There is a bag of various types and sizes of filters, several tripods and flash units, with a Pentax K100D with a variety of Pentax, Sigma and Tamron lenses.

I will see how it goes and maybe enroll in local training through TAFE or other sources, and increase my confidence and knowledge.

Other than that, I will see where it takes me.

Welcome to AP Sarco. Gee That bag of goodies sound interesting.
Do I know how you feel I had the same problem, good advice from Rick above.
Want to know something click on the Library Button up the top of the page then How Do I. Need more Help just ask.
This may help a little here is the Operating manual > Pentax K100D (http://www.ricoh-imaging.co.jp/english/support/man-pdf/k100d.pdf) in case you do not have one.
When you take a photo do put it on the Constructive Critique Forum next section down First one New to Photography CC (Beginners) so we can help.
