Picking up the camera again

It's been a while. I haven't taken a photo with anything other than my phone in ...... way too long.

and it's been even longer since I've been on the Ausphotography forums. Hi!!!!

After a couple of kids and a career change it's time to start back with an old passion of mine. I'd really love to learn decent portrait photography.

Now, about some housekeeping: your signature very generously says
"I am wanting to learn, please feel free to rework my photos", in red,
but your editing permissions say the opposite, so you might want to
edit the latter (in your profile) to say the same.

Finally, due to my laziness, I'm trying to settle on an abbreviation of
your name to type...

...-- I think I'll settle for "Dot" :D

I’m down with Dot. Thanks for the welcome. I don’t even know if the editing permission was a thing when I was last in here (was it really 8 years ago). I’m goiung to have to change my dog when I get to a computer. But I’ll settle for updating the permissions. Thanks for pointing that out ????
