This bird inspired me to come back!

Hi everyone, glad to see this community still going strong. I've had a long break from photography, actually sold ALL my SLR gear! I've gone simple these days.

Anyway, I've moved house and been inspired by the birdlife to pick up a camera again. I found this guy recently and I can't figure out what he is, any thoughts?
