Not Taking A Shine To CHROME!!!

Has anybody solved this problem?

1. You set everything to clear (History, Cookies, etc) on exit from Chrome, and yet...

2. Next session you still get all this, including the stupid tiles on a (thankfully) New Tab (only)...

I only use Chrome on my Android tablet. On my PCs, I use Firefox.
