Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes - much appreciated.
I had a lovely day (on the Sunday) spending it with my family. My eldest son had returned home from England on the 20th Feb with his partner and 10mth old daughter. I hadn't seen them since July 2016 so my granddaughter Florence had grown and become much more animated which was lovely to see. It was also a special day as I share my birthday with my mother who turned 92. My mum hadn't ever seen her Great Granddaughter so it was wonderful to watch her interact with Flo. We had planned to introduce her to her other Great Grandmother as well but unfortunately she was in hospital for some rehabilitation.

I also share my birthday with one of my work colleagues and when I went into work I was surprised to see my workstation and her desk all decorated up with balloons and streamers. One of our visiting singing teachers had decorated it before I had arrived even though she was feeling sick. Cake and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" was much appreciated by both my colleague and I. :)

Thanks Lyn. The name is growing on me but I have to say she gets called "Flo" more than "Florence". I think I like Florence better. :)
