This **text removed** site is telling me "Shouldn't you be going to be soon, dogsbody". Bollocks I don't get home from the dungeon till after midnight.

I was hoping to have my first attempt at auto-guiding tonight but the clouds rolled in from the west yet again.

I want to learn long exposure astrophotography, but the weather is not always kind. I have managed to get some images of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn at 3200mm and Uranus at 1600mm. Nothing to write home to mum about.

Other than trying to take star pictures I like all sorts of photography minus sports, nudes and porn - I can't see the sense. No I am NOT a Bumder (see The Inbetweeners).

I do have a warped sense of humour.

I live in Casino a small town just west of Byron Bay **text removed**.

I prefer milk over beer, but a Coopers Sparkling Ale is nice.

You can call me Stephen, Biggles or Jonesy. Dogsbody is optional.

Time to go to bed computer says "Shouldn't you be going to be soon, dogsbody". What would happen if I **text removed** went to the Border Ranges National Park. I forgot it is still cloudy.

Hi Dogsbody.

Is it OK if I call you "General" for short?:D

Welcome to AP.

If you are into astrophotography then you must know something about long exposures and
shooting with large focal lengths. Perhaps you should be at the Intermediate level.

Please write here about some of your efforts and show some pics. There are a few astro togs here.

I have removed some unnecessary text from your post.

Am.

Thats certainly a different kind of Intro, and Welcome to AP. " So you have a warped sense of humour" there are other Members like that here too.
I thought your d key was missing as I could not see it on "Shouldn't you be going to be bed soon" on the top or last line, guess you copied and pasted, though I see it on midnight :D
Plenty of Members here to help you with learning to shoot astrophotography, and posting images on the Forums for CC is the best way to learn so join right in
