Hi All, just joined up and saying hi. Relatively new to photography and am typically getting the out and about memories rather than the super arty stuff. Hoping to learn and contribute here.

Think your first photo is a rippa.
Don't be afraid to get involved here. Ask questions, make comments on others photos ("like that because ....." "That's interesting but why did you ....?" It actually helps you think about what you could do better with you photos)
Generally getting involved is what makes forums work. (check this place out http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?58-MEMBER-CHALLENGES)
