Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents. I've been interested in photography for a while but i haven't had the chance to get out and about as of yet. Any tips you can give me, I'm all ears.

Hi and welcome to AP

Don't feel like you have to get out just to get started on photography.
You can start inside also, get an idea of lighting and how it affects objects and shadows, compositions, do funny things, capture memories, etc.

And you can head over to the library to learn more about photography, take photos, post them up here, and get additional critiques and ideas. :)

First tip, get involved here with a more specific question (How the heck do I get the bloody bird in focus?)
Next tip, don't be afraid to get involved here "like that photo because......" "Why did you ......."
And post some photos so we can comment and help you improve.
