Yet another new guy!

Hey everyone,

I'm Kieran, and I'm quite new to the world of digital photography! Used to mess around with my parents old film SLR years ago, but recently decided to buy myself something a bit more modern!

Mostly taking automotive photos, but am trying to branch out and make myself a bit more diverse! Also haven't used my camera in any mode but manual yet, trying to force myself to learn. Makes taking photos time consuming, but a lot more fun imo! :)

Current setup is;
Nikon D5500
Nikkor AF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6G
Nikkor 55-200mm f4-5.6G II
Nikkor AF 50mm f1.8
Got a tripod and some basic accesories, nothing of great importance!


Will post in the begginer photgraphy thread with some recent pics!

Good on you for posting some photos already (yeah, if you don't like my comments on them you can tell me to get nicked. :D:))
Don't be afraid to offer comments on others photos. Can actually help with your photography. "Would this look better doing ......?" "I like that because ....... ." Why/how did you do ..... ?).

Nah your comments were good Mark! Much better than I've experienced in other forums for topics unrelated to phoyography haha! And I'll definitely start giving feedback on others work!
