It would appear that I have been too busy attending to Christmas celebration!
Here is a couple of shots of a red capped plovers which have been busy nesting not too far from my house. I have been eagerly watching them each day while they take care of their tiny eggs just sitting exposed on the beach. Sadly, I went to check yesterday - no eggs & no chicks.

It's what happens.:( I had great photographic views of a Willie Wagtail and Dusky Woodswallow nest. The woodswallows even got the chicks to a week old. Both nests raided and destroyed (probably by currawongs):(
