Does not surprise me at all. I have watched a person walk backward onto a street while trying to compose a selfie. Luckily the driver was paying attention.

Your Thread title caught my eye, but my sense of humour failed to catch it's direction or intent. Should there be an accompanying image. or "please explain"

Doesn't surprise me. During a recent trip OS if I had a $ for every selfie stick I saw it would have paid for my trip. It was often quite amusing to watch some young girls pouting into their phones while taking a selfie.

I "saved" a photographer who stepped backwards into the street trying to take a shot of a building near where I work. Not a selfie, but similar scenario.

Selfie-destruction? We saw plenty of selfie - sticks while o/seas ( and here ), and many silly things done. At one famous attraction, most of the people were with their backs to it busy taking selfies, and many didn't even turn around to see it.
