Circled By Confusion

Hi,

Thanks for creating this site and having me here.

It was about 2004 I became curious about digital
photography, so I acquired a 1.3meg BenQ pocket
camera. When I viewed the first images on my computer
display and was able to adjust light and colour levels
with the program that came on the supplied BenQ CDROM
I was hooked.

By 08 I sold my Nikon FM film SLR and
lenses (a move I now regret) and bought a Fujifilm S6500fd;
a 6.3meg "bridge" camera that I still have. It has its limitations but
I love its versatility and it does killer macros. As long as there is
enough light it's images are ok. I'll part with my Fuji when it is pried
from my cold and lifeless hands... Maybe I'm easily pleased :p

About 2 and a 1/2 years ago a friend loaned me a Nikon D700 with a 24-70 on it
for a weekend... It blew my mind. I had to have one. A month or so later
I acquired a pre owned example with 4500 odd actuations on it from the states.
The images it produces still provide me with joy and pleasant surprise.
Having said that, the 'tog' still fails on a regular basis.

I like shooting people, ironically I think my people skills are pretty poor,
so I shoot more wild life, motorcycles, landscapes and product than people.

Anyway it's seriously late; I'm off to make some zeds.
Thanks again for having me on board.

Warm Regards,

Circled By Confusion.

You're better of starting some threads and posting the photos for CC. You will get some good advice.:th3:
Probably better than this.
#1, a bit more space in the foreground maybe.
The last, a photo of a bird would be better.:D;)

Totally agree about more space in the foreground of #1

Ball Bearing (the cat) really needs to worry about the birds
more than the birds need to worry about him.

He's a handsome boy, but he's the dumbest cat on the block.
Some cats chase their tails; some cats chase shadows, but
BB chases a shadow of his tail.
