LR4 & D750

Well went to start to process some photos to post and guess what, that's right LR 4 did not open images. So does this mean I have to purchase newer edition or are there downloads to resolve this issue. At this point I have not found any.
If I get the later edition does this mead yearly subscription.

Once again I remember life is not supposed to be easy.

Find the version (obviously the latest would do it) of ACR - Adobe Camera RAW - that supports the latest files and install in LR4.

quite often Adobe do not provide backward support for new cameras for previous versions of their software. You may find that LR4 will never open D750 files. You may have to upgrade your LR version.

So is LR 5.7 a free downloadable upgrade for 5/5.1.
