Interesting news item here about the increasing use of images without permission, and the photographers who are taking action to receive recognition/payment for their illegally used images.

The disturbing aspect of these sort of cases is the cost an individual must be prepared to expend in order to obtain justice! The article doesn't say how much the photographer forked out to take legal action, but even after obtaining a judgment nothing has been paid, meaning he's still out of pocket. Now presumably there will need to be more costly legal action to enforce the ruling. Not sure how many photographers have the means to do that, and to keep pursuing payment.
