Intro post... I'm a long time photo tinker with a variety of bits and pieces and a curiosity in the art, craft and tech of photography.

After having my trusty Nikon FM2 and lenses stolen about 10 years back, I'd contented myself with various digital compact cameras until I bought a Sony a7 about a year back. Since then I've collected a variety of lenses and moved on to an a7ii.
