Hi,
I'm on the Sunshine Coast, very cold here at the moment.
Started my own black and white developing and enlarging over 50 years ago with an OM1.
Now I have an Olympus OMD EM1, a Fuji X Pro1 and an X100s. All great cameras.
As a kid I wanted to be a photojournalist but that never happened. I'm just a hobbyist. :th3:
I use LightZone for post processing on my linux computer.
Regards

Hi Gnu2. I thought that was a ref to Linux.
Welcome to AP. You sound like you've got some experience behind you, "professional" or not.
Anyway, join in.
Am.

Hello and Welcome to AP. Interesting intro and great gear you have there too.
I have a little E-M1 and enjoy the light weight of it when shooting Macro.
Will look forward to seeing what you post on the Forum then :2smile:

Thanks for your all your welcomes and Mary Anne--
I'm sure you are much more advanced than I and see you are Photo of the Week winner.
How do you like the EM1? I can't decide between the 2 Fuji's I have and the EM1. There are technically beautiful pictures which I admire but I lean towards interesting street shots.
I am amazed at the Formula One guys with their DSLR's and huge lenses.
I have practically no experience with DSLR's.
In the meantime I'll try and find my way around this site:confused013
Regards

G'day gnu2.
Don't be afraid to post photos, make comments, ask question and generally get involved. 'tis what makes forums work.:th3:

gnu2..Hello again. That POTW took me 5½ years to earn :D There are plenty of Members here that have many flags.
I do like the E-M1 for macro as my Canon Gear weighed 2.5kgs and I was finding it too heavy to hand hold especially with one hand.
If I wanted to do street shots I would have bought the Fuji as it is smaller than the E-M1. Though I am still more a Canon Shooter for now.

If confused click on the Library Button up the Top then * How Do I * still need more help just ask..

My first submission to the group.
I linked it as preferred. I hope it works? Just a test. :)

You need to use this method for flickr: http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=How_Do_I:Flickr_:_How_to_link_photos_into_Ausphotography

and people will not give CC in an intro forum, use the FORUM menu at the top of the site and scroll down to find the photo CC forums.
