My name is Don, generally go for Nature /wildlife shot but also pretty open to other subject matter. Been back into Photography for about 5 years after getting to that stage in life where I could afford some gear again. (I'm a granddad with a 1D4..they are everywhere..!)

My gear - 1D4, 500F4, 70 to 200 F 2.8. 24 to 70 F 2.8, 18mm zeiss distagon and I have access to a 100 macro.. and a 5 series gitzo and a Wimberley head and a ball head..

Hello Don and Welcome Back .. 1D4 gee I have not seen any around here guess the Granddads are poorer on the East Coast :D

Well not really, but one thing this stuff has taught me is good gear does not make a good photograph. All it makes is a good opportunity to look like a goose when you get it wrong....
