Hi everyone!
I recently moved to Oz from the UK, I have had an interest in learning more about photography the last couple of years when I picked up a better point and shoot camera. I recently purchased a DSLR and I'm taking a course at the weekend to get me up to speed.
Hopefully I will be able to pick up a lot from the course and here and start taking some more technical and thought out photographs.
Once I've got a hang of the basics I would like to start looking into macro and astrophotography :th3:

Don't be afraid to get involved here. Post photos, ask questions and make comments. Helps us all learn and, well, what's the point of forums otherwise?

I'm still looking around getting to know where everything is, there's certainly a lot of information to digest!

I'll certainly be putting some pics in the CC forum, once I find one of two worth putting up of course....
The weekly challenges look like fun, hopefully get me shooting something different. I finding I'm limited to the weekend with the commute to and from work it's dark in the morning and dark in the evening this time of year.
