Hello,

I'm new here to this site, although have been taking photos for a long time, though just a power hobby. Had an SLR back in the day which I had for about 20 years - a Praktica! I really miss the f-ring that SLR lenses had. I'm still not quite over it yet :-( . I pretty much like to shoot on full manual all the time, but slowing coming round to aperture priority. I think that lingers from my slr days.

Now I have a 40D which I have had for a while and it's great, but looking forward to going full-frame one day. I have several lenses by my favourite by far is the Sigma 18-50 HSM f/2.8. Just love it. It's my go-to lens.

Look forward to posting here and looking at photos.
