New member from Sydney

Good afternoon All,

I'm a new member here, having stumbled across the site earlier today. I've been practicing / learning about photography for about 15 months now. Started with a friends old Panasonic Lumix, then last year bought a Canon 650d (T4i). I'd describe myself as a beginner. I think I've grasped the concepts of taking photos but I still wonder when taking shots, what aperture should I be using here etc? I look forward to getting out, taking more and more shots and hopefully improving.
