Going missing

I know I am new but it is possible I will going missing for a few days in the not to distant future....not my choice but the PC, the HDD has decided to start failing and am even lucky to be able to get on today.

Why does it always happen on a weekend or public holiday?

Lucky for me all my images and everything I need is on external HDD's

A timely reminder to always have a backup plan...as much as we rely on them, computers cannot be trusted. Just look at the documentary "Terminator 2: Judgement Day".

Well it did die and late on Monday, but up and running again with a newer faster PC and this time with 2GB dedicated graphics.

Only problem now is that I can see how bad some of those images really were :cool:
