I have been quietly trying to acquire some new studio gear in time for a major location shoot on Monday 22nd September. I wanted reliable and reasonably priced gear so my first thought was an Elinchrome DLite-it RX4 package from a very large local distributor. They said it was "In Stock" - It wasn't. When I complained TWO WEEKS later, and threatened cancellation, they sent me an email saying it had "Shipped" - It hadn't. Finally demanded they cancel and refund the purchase and then looked elsewhere. THAT is where the GOOD part of this story begins.
I decided to give AP Site Sponsor Fotogenic Sydney a shot. From the Live Chat advice on their site answering my questions to their helpful search of their shelves after hours to ensure the stock was actually there, to finally having the gear ready for me to drive 130kms from Newcastle to collect it with only days to spare, I can't say enough about the helpful customer service provided. Fotogenic, thank you for your support and I hope my fellow photographers return that to you in future business. Well done!
