G'day, I'm redeye (a play on my surname) and pretty new to photography; did a bit at school in the '70s with an old Topcon slr. Recently bought a D5200 and a couple of lenses inc. a macro last week.
I live in a small village on Jervis Bays headland, so am leaning toward nature/landscape/macro shots, when I figure out how to use settings other than auto lol

Welcome to AP. Yeah, take a couple of fully auto shots and then... Well, here is where you'll get help.

Meantime, also have a look in the Library (tab at top of page) for some useful advice.
