hi, fairly new to photography, I bought my first DSLR about 4 years ago(Canon 1000D) and upgraded to a 7D about 12 months ago, I only take photo's in RAW format and full manual now and convet to JPEG using Lightroom 4, still have a lot to learn so that is why I am here.

welcome and see you on the forums soon. Based on you having purchased your first DSLR 4 years ago and now having upgraded, we don't deem that as being a beginner, therefore we have upgraded you to intermediate level

G'day from just up the road a little.
In the last week winter has finally arrived.:(Almost forced myself to go and get some frosty fog photos this morning. Maybe tomorrow.)
Hope you get involved here.:th3:

Hey Mark, I'm from Wello originally, then lived in Dubbo for a few years and just transferred to head office here in Orange about 3 months ago, still finding my way around on where to go and what to see here, it's a bit hard with the cold weather although we had a nice bit of snow last sat night.

Cook Park can be interesting, though not in winter.
Mount Canobolas and it's surrounds offers a lot.
My better half is from Coonamble. She ended up in Mudgee via Sydney. She's happier now.:D
If ever you're over this way, feel free to PM me and we can do something.
