Hi all,
I have just received my eBay purchase which is two RF-603n remote trigger/receiver, and in the box it comes with a shutter release cable which is about 6 inches long. What is this for?

I have two YN-560iii which they connect directly to the hot shoe on the top of the triggers, so no need for the cable (see image below to my typical setup). My only guess is that this cable is for some kind of studio lighting/strobe light which will not utilise the hot shoe connectivity. Is this correct?
