Hello
I signed up to this forum a fair few months ago and then forgot about and haven't had much time. Likewise I haven't really been out and about with my camera this year. Coupled with my HD dying on my me, my enthusiasm has not been very high for photography. Hopefully the second half of the year can get me going again.
About me, I'm from Scotland and have been living in Sydney for the last year. I mostly dabble in landscapes but I am open to most genres, it's just I not so good at them. Most of my old stuff can be found at www.tannachyphotography.co.uk but it hasn't really seen an update in a long time...

Hi Tannachy and welcome. Unfortunate to hear about your HD(D?) dying on you, but yes, hopefully this second half the the year will be more interesting for you. :)
I haven't had a thorough look at your website yet, but what I have seen are some very amazing photos! :)

Enjoy the site! Post some images. Everyone here is very friendly. Make use of the Beginner's CC forum while you can. Get involved and enter the competitions (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/apcompetition.php) ( if you like competitions (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/apcompetition.php)) , and try the members challenge each week . These all give you a way to keep motivated and focus your learning.
I'm finding you never stop (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=New_To_Photography:f_stop_chart) learning with this hobby and there is a wealth of experience and information here on the site.
