Hi my name is Tony and I have lived in Kakadu for 10+ years and have taken lots of photos that are just OK but I would like to learn more so I can make the most of the oportunities I have in this beautiful part of the world. I do lots of fishing and bushwalking. I recently purchased a Nikon D610 with a 24- 85mm kit lens and I am thinking of getting a Nikon 12-24mm f2.8 so hopefully I will have a good kit to improve my skills with. Anyway looking forward to the challenge.

Enjoy the site! Post some images. Everyone here is very friendly. Make use of the Beginner's CC forum while you can. Get involved and enter the competitions (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/apcompetition.php) ( if you like competitions (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/apcompetition.php)) , and try the members challenge each week . These all give you a way to keep motivated and focus your learning.
