I am new to this forum and hope to visit it regularly as I get more involved in my photo efforts.

The username "wasnapper" comes about as I live in WA and, snapper for taking snaps !

One question. I have started off as a beginner on here, should I be classed as intermediate?

I ask as I have been taking photographs for a long time, even did some home b&w film and print processing. I guess I am only really new to digital and the post process options. Don't ant to enter any comps under false pretences lol

Usually you can pick what level you are during sign up - or least I was able to. Has that been changed now? :confused013

Anyways, if you want to get it corrected, just let the mods/admins know, and they can do it.

Not sure if they'll want to see an image or two, or a link to your albums, just so they can be assured that you'll be in the right place, who knows, you may even be part of advanced :)
Least, that's where I got thrown into when I consider myself beginner and signed up as beginner

Enjoy the site! Post some images. Everyone here is very friendly. Make use of the Beginner's CC forum while you can. Get involved and enter the competitions (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/apcompetition.php) ( if you like competitions (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/apcompetition.php)) , and try the members challenge each week . These all give you a way to keep motivated and focus your learning.

Welcome wasnapper, just go into your profile and you can upgrade yourself, from you post I would suggest that intermediate may be were you best fit in.
