Hi!
My name is Rachael. I'm 33 yrs and I live on the NSW/QLD border on the Granite Belt. I have loved taking photos from childhood. My first "real" camera was a Kodak Advantix? panorama camera when I was about 15. Before that I had a few cheapie ones. I remember I used my mums old long brick looking camera at some stage but can't remember what it was! Anywho, my passion flared more when I had portraits done of my son about 4years ago. I had just a regular point n shoot then and just knew I needed a better one! I bought a Nikon p100 from the tvsn channel and loved it! But it just wasn't quite a dslr! So not long ago, I sold my first car (which was really a wreck sitting under my mums house) and got $400 for it so put more bucks to it and I bought a Canon 600d with the twin lens kit. OH MY GOD! I was in heaven! I was snapping n experimenting everything! Now, after reading websites, experimenting and googling a lot!, I have come to the stage where I really want to get more serious about photography. I have since bought some must haves to do the photography I love. Weather, nature, landscape photography. Maybe some portrait stuff as well! I have joined this site in the hope of getting some hints and tips from other photographers and learning from their advice. And of course to see everyone else's brilliant images!
