Hi Folks,

I Have always loved photography, but never had the will to get out there and try it myself.
Some time ago I decided to just buy a new camera and see where it led me, it was a good idea as it got me out of the house, though not as often as i would like.

I have anxiety issues, and thus I seem to have an irrational fear of getting out of the house and being an individual. I was hoping photography would help me with that, and it is starting too.
I still don't take many photos, but I am slowly gaining enthusiasm. I work sunrise to sunset on weekdays and very rarely get out on the weekends.

So anyway, I don't know where this is going but since this is the internet, have a picture of my cat. http://i.imgur.com/TvP61ON.jpg

Hello and welcome Faceman. Great shot of your cat! I love that "pensive" look they have.

If you work sunrise to sunset you should take your camera along with you and try to get shots of both events. Those two times of the day are what photographers refer to as the "golden hour" and the light gives some great mood for shots.

Hi there and Welcome to AP. Hopefully you will be able to venture out more and further now that you have a camera.
Will look forward to seeing what you post on the Forums. And that is a good image for a beginner.
