G'day from new member

My main interest, apart from family, is photography on 4WD trips deep into the Australian Outback - mainly desert areas far from civilisation (eg Canning Stock Route, Anne Beadell, Simpson Desert etc).
I use a Nikon D90 with mainly a Tamron 28-300 F/3.5-6.3 lens and for macro work a Tamron 60mm F/2.:nlogo:

I am hoping to use this forum for tips on photography and advice on future equipment I may purchase.

Sounds like you would have some great landscape images from your trips.

Welcome Alan . I am also fairly new to the forum and enjoying it immensely . I suggest you post some photo's , enter the competitions (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/apcompetition.php) and try the members challenge each week . These all give you a way to motivate and focus your learning.
