Hey guys,

I'm new (in the whole scheme of things) to photography. I've had my Canon 600D for almost two years now, but feel like I'm only just scratching the surface.

I really enjoy getting together with some like minded individuals and going for photo walks. I love capturing buildings, mostly because of my fascination with intersecting lines and repetition.

I am really trying to improve my photography overall, especially portraits, and am focussed on trying to convey what I love about a given scene.

I kick around with:

EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II
EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II
EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM

I have had cameras now for over 25 years and I am still scratching the suface albeit my scratches are deeper now. You have begun a journey that takes, time, patience and perseverance - contribute to the group, join a camera club, do some workshops and the journey will pass you by and you will be welcoming new people in 25 years.
