View Full Version : Hello from Sunny Cowra
I would like to say hello to everyone. I'm a begginerish cheap ass photographer. I have a Canon 1100d with the non is 18-55mm kit lens. I have few manual lenses from a pentax SLR which I bought adaptors for on ebay. The reverse mount I have for a 35mm vivitar lens is the most fun lens I have but it is extremely challenging to use. When the temperature falls to a more tolerable outside temp for human beings I would love to try out some recently acquired ND filters.
I dunno if I will get through the 50 posts in 30 days, but what I can see on the site is still very interesting.

Hello Bes :action66: and Welcome to AP.. Nothing wrong with an entry level camera, we all have to start somewhere.
Have a good read at whats on this :url: (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=Indexes:New_To_Photography_Book) and start posting some images on the Forums.
You dont have to get through 50 posts in 30 days, that would be the New Member Limitations *Things You Cannot Do* before that time
Try and post as much as you can to keep your account open, everything should open up for you soon.
So Will look forward to seeing what you post on the Forums for cc that's a great way to learn. :2smile:

Welcome Bes ,
I've been a member for a few weeks and am enjoying the forum immensely. Once you post a few photos posted and start a few conversations it is not hard to rack up the posts ( This is another one!). Look forward to seeing some of your work in the beginners CC forum.

Welcome, and as suggested above, the 30/50 does not stop you posting photos for CC, entering competitions, talking about camera gear and more. So show us some of your photos, give your opinion on other members' photos. See you on the forums.

G'day bes,
Maybe start playing in this years members challenge .... http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?188-Member-Challenges-52-2014
you'll have fun learning photo stuff and that 30/50 thing will become even more irrelevant!
