Hi , Brad is my name . I enjoy travelling and one part of the travel I always enjoy the most is taking photographs , so I thought I would get a bit more "into it " . All my photography has been with a point and shoot camera ( Sony Cybershot or similar) but friends say I have a "good eye" and would benefit from getting a better camera .

So I went a bought a Oly OMD EM-1 with 12-50mm kit lens and now I'm blown away by all the possibilities . I been so busy reading guides on how to understand the menus and set the thing up I have not had time to take any photos.!

I will keep an eye on the beginners forums , and the ones relevant to my camera and hope to pick up a few tips and tricks.

I've lots to learn and am looking at this as a retirement hobby.

You could also have a go at this years Members Weekly Challenge (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showthread.php?128069-The-2014-Members-Challenge-Week-1-Abstract) its a fun way to learn also and meet are helpful and friendly Members :2smile:
