Hi my name is Nate.

Very much a beginner although I dabbled in photography as a teenager at school using their camera equipment and darkroom setup. Sadly I didn't have the resources to continue back then but I've finally... Well as of next Wednesday have got myself a camera.

I look forward to posting many silly questions and hopefully some worthwhile shots.

Hello Nate and Welcome to AP.. New camera lucky you and what kind of camera is Santa giving you.

Then when you get that camera post some photos on the Forums for cc thats another great way to learn.

Mary Anne... Santa is bringing me a Nikon d3200 with standard 18 - 55 kit lens. Can't wait to get my hands on it and get involved here on AP.

I love "silly questions". They can be the ones that so many people are thinking about, but don't ask. Then they wonder why they they can't get an answer.;)
