Hi all, this is my first post - and in honesty, its also my first forum so I hope I'm adhering to etiquette.

So, tonight I spontaneously tried my first pano. This is simply two images.

You'll see this has nasty lens / sun flare.

Is this repairable??? I've just played around for half an hour in CS6 with clone tool etc but I am not getting realistic looking results.

Any ideas / suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers,

why do you need to repair it? Lens flare is not necessarily a bad thing. And as you found removing it can be impossible. Just leave it and let it be part of the image.

It's so trendy these days that most people are photoshoping flare INTO images, not out.

Maybe if you combined it with some smoke, fire, water/milk splash and light painting you might end up with the trendiest image on the net!

Yes, ok...thanks. Maybe that is the right strategy to take.
Cheers and Merry Christmas!
