Hi to all!

I've just found and joined this site, hope to improve my photography skills.

A little background....

Way back in the '80s I owned a Canon A1 SLR (still own it), and I was able to take OK photographs, but didn't really get right into photography as a hobby.

As digital cameras become popular and affordable ten years or so ago, I become interested again and purchased a Canon A510 (?) compact camera.

Then 18 months ago, I had an urge to get more serious about photography, and ended up buying an Olympus PEN E-PL3. That was quite a lot of fun, but recently I wanted more.

So last week I splurged on an OM-D E-M1. I have the kit zoom lenses from my PEN (14-42 & 40-150), as well as the Oly 12mm f2 and Pana 25mm f1.4

Although I think I understand most of the technicalities of photography, I really need LOTS of practice to improve my skills.

I'm sure I'm in the right place!

Gary.

Welcome to the right place Gary. :)
Don't be afraid to ask questions and generally get involved.
FWIW, I've always like how Bargo sounds when you say it.:confused013 My parents spent many years living in Tahmoor.

I usually hear "Taaaahmoor" pronounced the same way as "Baaargo" :)

Is is that how you hear it?
