I don't know the good spots but 'twould be nice to meet up for the festive season. I somewhere central better so people from north & south can come?

I would be in that. In some previous years we have done Oatlands, Ross, Campbell Town. and had a pub meal somewhere along the way.

Is there anything round Bothwell? Fairly central.

Not a lot at Bothwell as such. If you go further into the highlands past bothwell, yes, some good scenery, but it could mean wearing winter gear cause it can snow and close in up there, anytime of the year.

At Oatlands you have the flour mill and the lake, then Ross you have the bridge and church
