Hi all. I've just joined the forum, and i'm looking forward to having an enjoyable journey with you.
I've been a shutterbug for a few years now & have recently upgraded my Nikon D80 to a Nikon D300s. My main subjects are Wildlife, Landscape & the occasional Macro shot. My current lenses (all Nikon) are :- 10-24mm 3.5-4.5G. + 24-70 2.8G + 70-200mm 2.8G + 300mm F/4D. + 1.4 Teleconverter. Most of my Wildlife shots are taken using a Wimberley Sidekick attached to an RRS BH-55 ballhead on a Manfrotto 680B Monopod. I use a Manfrotto 055XPROB Tripod for landscape shots. I carry all this in a Lowepro Flipside 400AW backpack.
I should add that i'm a better at photography than I am at operating a computer. So it will take me a bit of time to find my way around this site. But I WILL get there, I promise.
If anyone is interested. My other hobby is Flyfishing. Both fresh & saltwater.
Also, My first name is Ian, but I prefer to answer to my nickname of Scotty.
Regards Scotty.

Hi Mary Anne. Thank you for the welcome.
I had a 105mm F/2.8G macro lens with the R1C1 setup. I wasn't using it much, so I sold it to a friend.
Sometimes I really do regret doing that.....Regards Scotty.
